SVBS AWARD for First Responders of the Year
The Swiss Association for Occupational Health Services (SVBS) honours first responders or organisations that have implemented an exceptional or innovative project related to first aid or occupational health services, or that have carried out or led a first responder or occupational health service operation in a particularly competent and exemplary manner.
The SVBS AWARD is open to all first responders, regardless of whether they work in occupational health services or not and/or whether they are SVBS members or not.
In addition to an award, there is also a cash prize of CHF 2,500, sponsored by betriebsapotheke.ch.
Only first responders or occupational health professionals are eligible for the award. Doctors, medical professionals, paramedics and persons working on behalf of an emergency service with an ambulance or rescue helicopter are excluded. The event must not have taken place more than 18 months ago.

The deadline for entries is 1 April of each year (for projects and operations from the previous year). The application form can be found via the link below.
Applications for an award will be reviewed by a jury consisting of former winners and various training providers. The jury’s decision is final. There is no entitlement to an award.
The award ceremony will take place during the ‘First Aid Symposium’ or in a more private setting, depending on the winners’ preferences.
