Our association
The Swiss Association for Occupational First Aid was founded in 1986. We are the only professional organisation for occupational first aiders in Switzerland. Companies and businesses support us as individual and collective members. We are politically and religiously neutral.
Our activities
We are a source of advice and documentation on occupational first aid for our members. We participate in various expert committees, where we represent the needs of occupational first aiders. We are actively involved in quality assurance for training and further education programmes for occupational first aiders. We organise further training courses in the field of occupational first aid and publish documents and guidelines on relevant issues relating to occupational first aid. We carry out public relations work and network occupational first aiders with each other and with other target groups.
Our goals
We demand and promote the reputation and professional competence of company paramedics, support the exchange of experience, actively contribute to ensuring a high standard of training throughout Switzerland and attach great importance to a high level of quality in company paramedic practice. We provide advice and develop further training formats and documents that help our members and the industry.
